Data sources
The official sources behind MOTIntel.
MOTIntel uses public-sector vehicle, MOT and recall data, then adds derived statistics and report copy. Per-registration checks call DVSA and DVLA APIs server-side only; API keys are never exposed in the browser.

Licence and attribution
Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Vehicle and MOT data from DVSA and DVLA. MOTIntel is not affiliated with or endorsed by DVSA, DVLA or the Department for Transport.
